Negotiations Survery - October 2011

After membership successfully ratified the tentative agreement for the 2008-2011 contract between CCCE and CUSD on September 30, 2011 our negotiating team is eager to get started on the task of submitting a proposal for our successor agreement. A successor agreement is done every three (3) years, and simply means the entire contract is open for negotiations from cover to cover. The successor agreement will be covering the period of July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2014. As ratified in the tentative agreement, we must submit our proposal to the District for the successor agreement no later than October 31, 2011.
In order to ensure that the negotiating team continues to bargain over issues that are important to the membership in which we serve, we have created a negotiations survey to maximize member input in such a short time. Please take a moment to complete the negotiations survey by clicking here. We also encourage members to share this information with other CCCE members in order to gather as much input and involvement as possible from the approximately 700 members we represent.
Lastly, if members do not have access to a computer, please allow them time to use your computer to complete the survey. As a last resort you may print out the survey for them to write in their answers. Please take note that any hand written surveys we collect must be completed in their entirety. If all fields are not filled in we will not be able to input the responses into the system and they will not be counted. Completed hand written surveys can be faxed to our office at (310) 639-7271, hand delivered or mailed to our office located at 121 N. Long Beach Blvd., Compton CA 90221.
We value your opinions and needs, please take a moment to share them with us by taking the negotiations survey.

Eligible union members can apply for Union SAFE grant money (which does not need to be repaid) — and access Union Plus benefits and advice — to help combat the problems in today's economy.
